Iran has warned it will unleash “hell” if the US and Israel continue to pressure the country to open the Strait of Hormuz or face attacks on energy infrastructure.

IRGC spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaqari claimed in a video on Saturday (4 April) that some Israeli and US targets were struck by Iranian drones and missiles.

He added: “If escalation continues, the entire region will turn into hell for you."

Trump told Tehran his latest deadline for a deal to end the Middle East war was fast approaching.

He wrote on Truth Social: “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out - 48 hours before all Hell will reign (sic) down on them."
