The purple universe is buzzing louder than ever. This time, it’s not because of a wholesome throwback edit of Jungkook swinging with his legs up while all his hyungs — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin and V — film his adorable self on their phones. The ARMY is going gaga over the word on the streets of a possible reunion of all seven members of BTS in the next three months. Millions of fans across the world have been wanting to see BTS OT7 in one frame. The Bangtan boys have been on their individual paths — some still completing their mandatory military service, while some slaying solo stages. In this article, we will explore all about the potential reunion of all BTS members in 2025 and their much-awaited world tour.
For the uninitiated, BTS is a Korean boy band and one of the biggest musical groups in the world. Imagine the craze around the British boy band One Direction and then triple it. The group consists of seven members, namely Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They have multiple worldwide blockbusters under their name as a group, as well as individual artists. From their albums to merchandise, everything about BTS sells out within a minute. Such is the power of the most popular K-pop band in the world.
Although it’s been a couple of years since BTS released new music, the members continue to shine individually with their diverse projects. The elders of the group, Jin and J-Hope, have been out in the world after finishing serving their country. South Korea’s mandatory military service requires men to serve for about 18 to 21 months. The rest of the members are expected to be discharged soon from their duties.
If recent reports are to be believed, many stadiums across the world will turn purple soon as fans are eagerly awaiting BTS’ world tour. As we wait for an official announcement, here’s everything we know about the potential reunion of BTS members.

Jin and J-Hope were the first ones to begin their military service. They were discharged in 2024 and resumed individual projects. Meanwhile, the rest of the band members started their mandatory service one by one. According to the timeline, Jimin, RM, V, Jungkook, and Suga will be discharged in June 2025. The band is known for being supportive of each other and showing up at all important events.
Fans believe that they will witness all the members reuniting in the next three months after their discharge from the military. The ARMY has already started the countdown on social media. Interestingly, 13 June 2025 marks BTS’ 12th anniversary, a huge feat for a K-pop band.
When will BTS go on a world tour?
BTS is known for their extravagant and larger-than-life concerts. Needless to mention, they are expected to go on a world tour after reuniting. The expectations for their new music are higher than ever. However, it looks like the ARMY will have to wait longer than expected to see all seven members performing on a big stage.
According to a report from Korea JoongAng Daily, HYBE CEO Lee Jang Sang shared details of the upcoming world tour. He stated that while the members will return to their activities after being discharged from the military in June, the fans will have to wait for their new music. He stated, “They (BTS) need time to prepare for their music. We are in talks with top-tier songwriters, but the artists also need time to think and prepare themselves.”
He also assured the fans that a tour date will be announced after BTS successfully finishes making new music. Given the speed at which BTS concert tickets sell out, ARMY all around the world need to start preparing to be able to bag a seat at the much-awaited comeback world tour.
