Written by Kim Ji-soo and directed by Lee Myoungwoo, the series premiered on ENA on June 1, 2026, and airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 pm in Korea. For those looking to watch online, it is available for streaming on Disney+ internationally. There are 12 episodes in total, with 4 episodes out and the final episode expected to air on July 7, 2026.

Doctor on the Edge has kept its actual shooting locations under wraps, but Korea’s coastal regions, such as Tongyeong and Gajo Island, resemble the landscapes we are captivated by. The indoor and urban scenes were largely filmed around the Seoul metropolitan area.
Gajo Island

Famed for its peaceful character, Gajo Island is a scenic spot located off the southern coast of Geoje in South Korea. The coastal roads and villages shown in the show are from Gajo Island, as well as the fishing docks and piers. The Pyeondong Health Centre is also on Gajo Island.

- How to reach: It is accessible by car via the Gajo Bridge from Geoje
Tongyeong

The narrow harbour streets, deserted beaches, and walking trails are all said to have been filmed in Tongyeong. Viewpoints and secluded paths, such as the Jangsado Sea Park, are also among Doctor on the Edge’s shooting locations.
