Former Malaysian Bar president Salim Bashir Bhaskaran asserts that while Malaysia does not have provisions regarding house arrest, there is nothing preventing the former Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, from issuing such an order in the pardon of Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
