A viral TikTok video from Kedah has the answer, capturing two orange cats in what could be the most intense non-fight of the year.
Instead of the claws-out showdown you’d expect, these two oyens (Malaysia’s beloved orange cats) decided to freeze up like they’d forgotten how to cat.
The video, hilariously captioned “Maybe they’re fighting with their intentions,” shows the two cats in an intense stare-down.
One cat gazes off to the side, looking like it’s rethinking life choices, while the other has its back turned, looking way too cool to even engage.
No meows, no hissing, not even a flick of the tail—just the faint sound of chickens clucking in the background, adding to the surreal scene.
‘It was like they got stuck mid-argument‘
WeirdKaya reached out to Hidayah, the video’s creator, to learn more about her two internet-famous cats.
She shared that both cats are hers and explained their unique names.
“The one with the long tail is named Ola. Even though he’s male, he has such a cute voice that I decided to call him Ola,” she laughed. “The other one is named Ketot because he has a short tail.”
When asked about the peculiar “frozen” moment, Hidayah explained, “They were about to fight, but then… well, they just stayed like that. It was like they got stuck mid-argument.”
As for whether they are siblings, Hidayah clarified with a laugh, “No, they have different parents .”
She also revealed the moments leading up to the “freeze.”
“They were both munching on grass and getting their Vitamin C, then suddenly they looked at each other like they were ready to fight, but just froze in place—no sound or movement at all.”
The video’s comment section is brimming with amused reactions from netizens.
