Talking about season 2 of the 2025 Korean drama, director Yoo shared in a press conference, “While season 1 was about growing pains, for season 2, I thought about how one becomes an adult, and the keyword that came to mind was ‘reconciliation.'” He further added, “There is reconciliation with others, but it also includes reconciliation with oneself. I think acknowledging and accepting these things is necessary to become an adult.”

Could Weak Hero Class 3 be in the works?
While there’s no official confirmation yet on Weak Hero Class 3, the mid-credit scene for season 2 has fans hoping that a new chapter is on the horizon.
Viewers witness Geum Seong-je (played by Lee Jun-young) being offered a powerful position by Choi Chang-hee (played by Jo Jung-suk), the leader of the adult gang overseeing the Union. While Seong-je dismisses the offer, claiming it isn’t “romantic enough” for him, the moment raises an intriguing question: Could he reconsider his decision in the future? As someone who follows his desires, Seong-je may not rule out the possibility of taking the position if a more enticing offer comes his way.
Not to mention, Su-ho’s return at the end of the show is a moment that has fans wondering if season 3 could further explore the bond between Su-ho and Si-eun.
Meanwhile, Director Yoo Soo-Min has hinted in multiple interviews that, if audience interest remains strong, the story could continue into Si-eun’s final year, further fueling speculation about Weak Hero Class 3.
