KUALA LUMPUR: End-to-end piping solutions provider ISF Group Bhd via its wholly owned subsidiary Yeo Plumber Sdn Bhd (YPSB) has accepted a Letter of Award (LoA) appointing YPSB as the subcontractor for the internal sewerage works for a hyperscale data centre project with a contract sum of RM14.5 million.

The LoA was awarded by an established Malaysian-based civil engineering and building construction company.

The scope of works covers the construction and completion of the internal sewerage package, including testing and commissioning for a hyperscale data centre project.

The project is effective from the date of acceptance of the LoA with completion scheduled for March 26, 2027.

Following this award, ISF’s unbilled order book has increased to RM153.5 million. The steady flow of new contract wins reflects encouraging order book replenishment and supports the group’s earnings visibility up to the financial year ending Dec 31, 2029.

Managing director Jeff Ai Boon Chen (pix) said, “We are pleased to secure this contract, which reflects the continued growth in Malaysia’s data centre development and the demand for specialised piping solutions to support such high-specification projects.

As data centre investments continue to expand, we believe ISF is well positioned to benefit from this growth, supported by our technical expertise and proven project execution capabilities.”

ISF provides end-to-end piping solutions across residential, commercial and industrial projects. In recent years, the group has gained strong traction in the data centre segment, which contributed more than 50% of its revenue in the last financial year.”

Looking ahead, he added they remain optimistic about the prospects for Malaysia’s construction sector, supported by continued investment in digital infrastructure, industrial facilities, logistics hubs and selected government-led housing initiatives such as Projek Residensi Rakyat, Rumah Mesra Rakyat and Program Residensi Madani.

“With our proven capabilities in high-specification piping works, diversified project portfolio and stronger balance sheet following the IPO, ISF is well positioned to pursue larger and more complex projects. The fresh capital raised will also support our efforts to scale operations, invest in advanced project management capabilities and capture new opportunities across our key market segments”, he said.
