A deadly suicide bombing at a Shi’ite mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, killed 31 people and injured 169

ISLAMABAD: At least 31 ​people were killed and 169 ​wounded in a ‌suicide ⁠bombing at a Shi’ite Muslim mosque in ⁠Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad on ‌Friday, a government official ⁠said.


“The death toll in the blast has risen. ‌A total of 31 people have lost their lives. The ⁠number ‌of wounded brought to hospitals have risen ​to 169,” Islamabad’s ⁠deputy ⁠commissioner Irfan Memon ‌said.
