Ismail announces a youth rep will be made senator

Tuaran: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced that a youth representative will be appointed as a senator.

"This is to recognise the representation of youth voices in the country," he said when officiating the National Youth Day celebration, here, Saturday.

Ismail also announced an additional RM1-million allocation for the Malaysian Youth Council.

He said this will help the Council conduct its activities and will be distributed to other youth organisations.
