
At least 19 people have been killed and 32 injured in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
Ten people, including three children, were killed in a strike on a house in the village of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr on Tuesday. The strike also left three injured.
In addition, nine people were killed and 12 injured in two separate strikes on Nabatiyeh, the ministry said, according to the NNA news agency.
At least 17 others were injured in several strikes on Tyre district, NNA added.
The war between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia reignited in early March following the outbreak of the broader conflict involving Iran, leading to renewed open hostilities in Lebanon.
A ceasefire was announced in mid-April, but attacks have continued despite the truce. More than 3,000 people have been killed since the latest escalation began in early March.
On Tuesday, Hezbollah claimed several attacks targeting Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon using drones and rockets, including several towns in Nabatiyeh province.
Hezbollah also claimed targeting sites inside Israel near the border.
