FORMER Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak said it is hard to find true friends, especially those who stand by your side in difficult times.
Taking to Facebook, Najib said many only showed their faces in good times and when they wanted something.
"Life is full of lessons. In today's challenging times, there are always sweet and bitter moments," he said.
He also thanked his friends who came to court yesterday.
"Not only those from political parties, but to each of my supporters and ordinary citizens who remembered my services and miss the policies during my administration.
"This is what a true friend is. May our friendship remain and serve as a blessing in the afterlife," he added.
Yesterday, the High Court ordered Najib to enter his defence on all charges after ruling that the prosecution had established a prima facie case against the former prime minister.
Najib, 71, is facing four charges of using his position to obtain bribes totalling RM2.3 billion from 1MDB funds and 21 charges of money laundering involving the same amount. - October 31, 2024
