Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Football Association (Safa) and Sabah Football Club will not be affected by the resignation of Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.

Safa secretary general Dato Jelani Hamdan made the assurance on Sunday evening following the announcement by Bung earlier in the day who cited his decision to focus on his political career as the reason for him quitting.

Jelani said the fans should not be too worried that the latest development will put the State team’s preparation for the new season in jeopardy.
