ITV presenter announces cancer diagnosis as he postpones work

ITV presenter Henry Cole has revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

In an Instagram video posted on Wednesday (2 September), The Motorbike Show star, 62, announced that he was postponing live theatre dates to after Christmas following a diagnosis of "localised" gut cancer.

"It’s easy to operate on, and thank gosh we found it... I am told, God willing, that I will make a full recovery, and I’ll come up smiling around February,” he added.

" Whatever life throws at you, you've got to grow old disgracefully."
