Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has revealed he'd often be contacted by former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson when he was younger.
As Wilder prepares to face a United side for the first time as a manager, he recalled the days when Ferguson would mentor him.
Sir Alex used to phone me as a young manager," he said.
"He'd take the time out to help me out along the way. He used to do it to quite a few young British managers. I remember a time at Oxford, we had a big game the next day, he got in touch and stuff like that gave me a huge boost."
