Manchester United are swooping for Monaco youngster Hannibal Mejbri.
The midfielder, who is just 16, has been pushing for a move away from Monaco after his family became embroiled in a spat with the Ligue 1 outfit.
RMC says United reached an agreement with Monaco on Wednesday over a fee of 9m.
Refusing to let him leave for free, the club have held out for compensation given he had a contract to 2021.
Mejbri's dad, former Tunisian footballer Lotfi, cited an "issue of trust" behind his efforts to cancel the contract.
