Jack Harrison has penned a new deal with Leeds United.

The winger has penned a five-year contract taking him to June 2028 and 31-years-old.

"It's obviously very exciting," Harrison told LUTV.

It's a massive moment for me in my career. I am really happy to be here, I have been here for so long now, coming up on almost 200 appearances.

I've been through a lot of history with the club and I am looking to make more history here. The club has helped me to progress into the player I am today.

Playing in the Premier League is something I had aspired to do since being a young kid. The club has helped me to achieve that.

So, I have been really grateful for all these experiences an great moments, so I can only hope for many more."

Harrison joined the Whites on an initial loan spell in 2018, before going on to make his move permanent in 2021.

He said: I think it is hard to summarise in one little story, there has been so many different things.

Unusual things like the Play-Offs the first year and not getting promoted, then the second year getting promoted.

Throughout that time I had three years on loan which is unheard of. To come back here and sign, then help to bring the club back to the Premier League was a massive moment, not only for myself, but I think for the club after 16 years away. Then the first year to finish ninth was a successful year for the club.

Everyone knows football is not one simple path, it has ups and downs. Last season went right down to the wire and that was a whole new experience.

I've been here during amazing times, I have had a lot of different experiences which I have been really grateful for.

Going forward I can only hope and aspire to create more great experiences."
