Fancy yourself a globetrotter but have never set foot in Jaipur, India? You’re missing out big time!

The famed Pink City has been stealing the spotlight as India’s trendiest hotspot, which is why these six Malaysian influencers recently flew there to experience its magic firsthand! Here’s what their 4-day itinerary looks like, and see through their eyes why Jaipur is a must-visit destination.

Day 1: Majestic forts and golden sunsets for days

The adventure began at Panna Meena ka Kund, a hidden gem perfect for dreamy photos. This stunning 16th-century stepwell was built to collect the monsoon rainwater and preserve water for the drier months, in addition to helping locals reach water at any level as the pool rises and falls. The stepwell also had communal value to it, as it is said to have once been the gathering spot for women from local households!

@afiqazhar_ waxed lyrical about the group’s visit to the historical site: “Stepping back in time at Panna Meena ka Kund and standing tall with history at Amer Fort — Jaipur’s royal charm never fades.”

Speaking of Amer Fort, the group then explored the grand attraction where intricate mirror work and sweeping palace views left them in awe. @siva_wwc, for one, was particularly enamoured by the fort’s charm, calling it “a real piece of royal history.”

Noon: Luncheon at Samode Haveli

A royal dining experience awaited at Samode Haveli, a 225-year-old heritage mansion serving authentic Rajasthani cuisine in a regal setting.

The open-air terrace boasts panoramic views of the bustling old town, offering guests a tranquil setting to kick back with food, drinks and stories to share with fellow travellers. @tay.evelyn listed Samode Haveli under her list of “Aesthetic restaurants to try in Jaipur.” She commented, “Jaipur is home to some of the most aesthetic spots where you can enjoy not only incredible flavours but also beautiful surroundings.”

As the sun descended, the group hopped into open-top jeeps for a breathtaking sunset tour across Jaipur’s skyline, capturing the city’s golden hues in all their glory.

Not many knew the charm of this tour until they joined — including @sheqins. “If you told me a year ago that I’d be watching the sunset on a jeep tour through Jaipur, I wouldn’t have believed you,” she said. “But here I am — heart so full, taking it all in. This moment, this view, this feeling… I’ll carry it with me forever.”

The menu features a diverse range of cuisines, including North Indian, Italian and Continental dishes, thus satisfying a wide variety of appetites.

The group only had nice things to say about all of the food, but @sheqins certainly had her faves to recommend. “The tosei masala and butter chicken are living rent-free in my head right now!” she said.

Day 2: Palaces, observatories and high tea with a view

@melissathng, for one, LOVED being able to get in touch with her creative side while bonding with her group and the locals. “Block printing is probably my favourite, the family is soooo genuine and nice,” she commented. “I was really touched by their open hearts.”

A trip in India doesn’t get more authentic than visiting a local family’s home and trying out their food and clothes, right? That’s exactly how the day wrapped up — with a homestyle Rajasthani cooking demo, followed by a feast in traditional attire — allowing the group to immerse fully in local culture.

@sheqins was certainly into it, having spent the entire night with an exciting cooking lesson, dressing up and even dancing for the ‘Gram! “Oh, nothing much, I just went to India and learned how to cook some local food and learned how to wear the saree!”
