KUNAK: The State Government is expected to expedite the upgrading of Jalan Kadazan Mostyn as the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) at the federal level has approved and funded this rural road project.
Umno Youth Leader of the Lahad Datu Division, Dato’ Sri Anil Sandhu, said the project had approved the KKDW and handed over to the State Government for implementation through the Public Works Department (JKR).
“We hope the government can quickly carry out the Kadazan Mostyn road upgrade, as it has already received federal approval.
“The cooperation between the Federal Government, through KKDW and the State Government demonstrates a shared commitment to prioritising the development of essential infrastructure, such as rural roads, for the benefit of the people of Sabah,” he said during an inspection of Jalan Kadazan Mostyn, recently.
