Gavin and Stacey stars James Corden, Ruth Jones and Joanna Page have been spotted filming for the Christmas Day special in Barry Island.
Corden and Jones were seen with their arms around each other on the seafront in south Wales, while they were also welcomed to the area by fans.
Speaking to the BBC, Corden admitted that filming the finale was “overwhelming”.
The broadcaster announced on Monday 2 September that filming had got under way for the sitcom’s last episode.
Gavin and Stacey aired for three series between 2007 and 2010 and made a comeback in 2019 for a one-off festive episode which ended on a cliff-hanger when Jones’ character Nessa proposed to Corden’s Smithy.
