Jamie Lee Curtis is raking in praise for her latest performance — but instead of the big screen, she took on late night TV.
Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon opened with the Oscar-winning actor, 67, impersonating Elizabeth Holmes opposite Fallon’s Nathan Fielder impression, spoofing A24’s buzzy documentary You Can See Everything.
“Be honest. Do you really want to be on the show tonight?” Fallon, donning a salt-and-pepper wig and speaking in a tone mimicking Fielder, asked Curtis. The Halloween star, wearing a blonde wig and heavy blush on her nose, stared at him in response while slightly nodding before smiling.
Fallon then asked her slowly: “So you’re not just here to promote your new show, Newlyweds?”
Curtis responded, “No. I’m engaging with you as a human being,” putting on a close reenactment of the viral moment in the documentary’s trailer. In a low voice mimicking Holmes, Curtis continued: “Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that. There’s nothing for me to deceive you on.”
You Can See Everything, co-directed by Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, chronicled the life of the disgraced Theranos founder Holmes and her family in the month before she surrendered herself to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, where she’s serving an 11-year sentence after being convicted on four counts of fraud and conspiracy for lying about the capabilities of her biotech company’s blood testing technology.
The film has taken the box office by storm, bringing in more than $45 million after two weeks in theaters.
It has also brought a barrage of memes and analysis to the internet — so social media users were eager to see Curtis’ take on the controversial figure.
“Spot on,” one person reacted in a post on X. Another added: “Now that's an Oscar winning performance.”
“JLC is genuinely better in this clip than when she won the Oscar,” one person said. Another joked, “Is JLC eligible for an Emmy for this?!”
On Instagram, fellow celebrities raved over the spoof in the comments of the video.

Rita Wilson commented: “I mean, I can’t stop watching!!!” while Naomi Watts said that it was “Truly Excellent!!”
“This is so good!!!” Liev Schreiber added.
Other social media users were more impressed by Fallon’s impersonation of Fielder, with one person on X calling him a “total pro” with a “coherent and worthwhile take.”
Another noted: “look at how he mirrored fielder’s mannerisms down to the smallest facial expressions and awkward pauses.”
