Jamie Theakston gave a major cancer update as he returned to the HeartFM studio with Amanda Holden and Jason King on Friday, 17 January — four months after his diagnosis.
The Breakfast presenter, 54, was diagnosed with stage one laryngeal cancer diagnosis in September 2024 after listeners noticed a change in his voice.
JK filled in for Theakston during his vocal rest and treatment.
In an emotional return to the studio on Friday, Theakston gave his co-stars the news that he is cancer-free.
JK told Jamie: "I'm so happy that you're sat in that chair. I'm happy that you are cancer-free. I'm happy that the gang’s back together.”
