- Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Janette Manrara is set to flex her acting muscles in the new play Affluenza at London's Riverside Studios.

- Written and directed by theatre producer Andy Sandberg, Affluenza is inspired by real events and explores power and privilege following a teenage drunk-driving incident.
- Manrara will star alongside a cast including Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp, Bridgerton star Rupert Young, and EastEnders actor Juliet Cowan.
- The production will run from 26 September until 21 November, opening around the same time as the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
