KOTA KINABALU: Kapayan Assemblywoman Datuk Jannie Lasimbang urged the State Government to include women as equal partners in policymaking and budget execution, not just as recipients.
Supporting the RM68 million allocation for rural development, she called for targeted funds for women’s economic empowerment, legal protection, and leadership roles.
Jannie proposed micro-financing for rural women, direct aid for vulnerable groups, and better access to maternal and mental health services.
