The Japanese are known for their sense of cleanliness and their exceptional mannerisms. As fans, they are known to be one of the best fans to have at sporting events as they would leave the place exactly how it was intended to look like… spotless!

Japanese fans have been cleaning up after themselves and others at sporting events all over the world for a long time, and they probably have inspired fans of other countries to follow in their foot steps.

Recently, a tourism TikTok page from Qatar shared their experience with Japanese fans at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup which is being held in Qatar.

In the video which was posted by Qatarliving, the Qatari host expressed his shock after seeing Japanese fans clean up the stadium after the opening match of the World Cup, which was between Qatar and Ecuador.

The host was simply shocked that the Japanese would clean up the stadium even though they weren’t technically involved in the match.

The Qatari host ended up helping out the group of Japanese fans to clean up the stadium whilst asking them why they do it and if it was just for the cameras.

The Japanese fans responded to him by saying that as Japanese, they have been taught to never leave anything behind and that their actions are not merely to ‘show off’ to the cameras and it’s because they respect the place.
