JBL Malaysia has launched its newest Bar Series soundbars, introducing five new models — 1300MK2, 1000MK2, 800MK2, 500MK2, and 300MK2 — that deliver rich, immersive sound and seamless compatibility with any TV, elevating users’ home cinema experience.
To begin with, the new JBL Bar Series features HARMAN’s MultiBeam 3.0 technology, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and detachable rear speakers (1300MK2, 1000MK2, and 800MK2), delivering immersive, theater-like audio from a single unit.
As the highlight of the lineup, the flagship JBL Bar 1300MK2 packs a powerful dual 8-inch driver subwoofer and two detachable wireless speakers that can be placed behind you for full surround immersion or used independently via Bluetooth anywhere at home
Its compact subwoofer with AI Sound Boost delivers cleaner, more dynamic bass, while six up-firing drivers create true Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D audio. JBL also introduces One Commander, a wireless Dolby Atmos solution that lets the 1300MK2 connect to most TVs and projectors without cables for a cleaner, more convenient setup.
Among the other models, the 1000MK2 combines two up-firing drivers, a 10-inch subwoofer, and detachable rear speakers to bring true Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D sound in a more compact form.
Meanwhile, the 800MK2 offers powerful performance with detachable surround sound speakers and virtual Dolby Atmos. For those seeking more budget-friendly options, the 500MK2 and 300MK2 provides excellent price-to-performance value.
Not only that, all new JBL Bar models run on the JBL One Platform, an ecosystem designed for seamless streaming and deep customization.
Users can stream content from any music service or device — including hi-res and spatial audio — through the JBL One App or their preferred music apps. The app also enables a customizable 7-band EQ and a “Moment” button that instantly plays favorite tracks or playlists with one tap.
