Strengthening Media Collaboration and Promoting 45th Anniversary & New Board Installation Ceremony

PETALING JAYA: In conjunction with the Fire Horse Lunar New Year, the 2026 Board of Directors of Junior Chamber International Petaling Jaya (JCI PJ) paid a courtesy visit to a media outlet to strengthen content collaboration between the chamber and the media, with the aim of enhancing JCI PJ’s visibility and influence in political, economic, cultural, and educational spheres.

2026 JCI PJ President Gabby Wong Kah Hui led a delegation of eight members to the visit and extended an invitation to media representatives to attend the JCI PJ 45th Anniversary Celebration and New Board Installation Ceremony, scheduled to be held on Saturday, 28 March at Hee Lai Ton Grandballroom, Pudu.

She shared that this year’s team is guided by the core philosophy C.H.I.L.L. — Connect, Harmonize, Inspire, Lead, and Love, hoping to attract more young entrepreneurs and talents to join, expand business opportunities and social impact, and revive the chamber’s legacy of excellence.

She added that JCI PJ will continue its flagship community project Roof of Hope, which collects used electronic devices and surplus bread to distribute to underprivileged communities.

“To date, we have distributed over 10,000 pieces of bread and electronic devices to five organizations, benefiting more than 300 individuals,” she said.

JCI PJ plans to organize Hopefest in July or August to showcase the outcomes of the initiative and raise public awareness of the cause.
