
SANDAKAN: Food Fair 2.0, organised by JCI Sandakan, will take place Nov 1 to 3 at the Sibuga Sports Complex.
Organising Chairman, Michael Chang Yam Kei said the Food Fair 2.0 still carries last year’s theme, “Little Hong Kong”.
“On previous year, the Food Carnival was held at the open space next to Mydin Hypermarket, but this year, the carnival will be held at Sibuga Sport Complex.
“The event will run from 4pm to 9:30pm on Friday and from 9am to 9:30pm on Saturday and Sunday,” he said in a statement.

Read more Michael said as for this year, JCI Sandakan collaborates with Persatuan Harapan Dinamik Sabah (PHDS) to bring the “Little Hong Kong” carnival to life.
“In addition to the International and National High Pole Lion Dance Championship that will be held at the same time, the carnival will feature numerous food and handicraft stalls, car exhibitions and wood exhibitions.
“Fun activities for children, such as a kite painting competition and a costume contest, are also planned.
“Moreover, visitors can also enjoy lucky draws and various games throughout the event,” he added.
Apart from enjoying the food, visitors can also look forward to a variety of performances, including dance shows, Chinese orchestra, and traditional Malay dances.
Michael said JCI Sandakan would donate part of the event’s surplus to charitable organisations such as Cheshire Home Sandakan.
