Just days after sharing their new rankings (231st in the world, 5th in Asia and 1st in Southeast Asia), Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) took to their Facebook page to make an exciting announcement.
They have officially signed former Real Madrid winger, Jesé Rodríguez, who played alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.
They wrote, “He’s played at big clubs and all the top divisions. (The) two-time UEFA Champions League winner is now (a part of the) JDT family. Welcome to the Home of Champions.”
The 31-year-old Spanish footballer previously played for Real Madrid from 2011 to 2016 before joining Paris Saint-Germain as a forward from 2016 to 2021.
Having jumped through several other football clubs since then, Jesé Rodríguez signed with the JOHOR Southern Tigers as the 10th football club in his thriving career.
