Jeff Bezos has described Donald Trump as a "very smart guy" who has "been right about a lot of things."
The Amazon founder, 62, told CNBC in an interview broadcast on Wednesday (20 May) that he was not on any particular political side, and had previously called Barack Obama for advice.
He went on to praise the current president, describing the Republican as “a more mature, more disciplined version of himself than he was in his first term.”
“By the way, people that are Trump have lots of good ideas, and he's done a lot of – he's been right about a lot of things. You have to give him credit where credit is due," Bezos added.
