Kota Kinabalu: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan refuted Parti Warisan (Warisan) President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal’s claim that three assemblymen who quit Warisan recently were “bought over” by the coalition.
“There is no such thing…that is a reckless accusation,” he said, when asked after witnessing the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Sabah Fishery Department and Petronas, Friday.
On Wednesday, Shafie was reported as saying that he has evidence that a Warisan assemblyman was contacted by GRS which is led by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
