KENINGAU: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan would like to see the Keningau District Council upgraded to a Municipal Council.
He said this proposal would become a reality by increasing the revenue collection from the Council’s rating area, in addition to providing good and satisfactory services to the community.
Jeffrey, who is also Keningau Member of Parliament, said this after officiating the swearing-in of Keningau District Councillors for the 2023-2025 term, here, Tuesday.
