An emotional Jeremy Clarkson becomes tearful as he is forced to send his beloved “pet” cow Pepper to the abattoir.
The sad scenes are shown in the third series of Clarkson’s Farm.
The 64-year-old reveals he can no longer afford to keep all of his cows after West Oxfordshire District Council told him has to close down his newly opened restaurant.
As he watches the cows being loaded up onto the lorry, the former Top Gear presenter said: “I'm finding today really quite sad as for the last year I've been opening the windows, opening the curtains in the morning and there are the cows. And I love that.”
