Footage of the former England footballer appearing to parody TikTok user @snowydangernew, in which he sips a pint of beer and repeatedly says “go on then”, resurfaced on social media after the BBC sacked the presenter following allegations of inappropriate workplace behaviour.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Thursday, 22 August, The One Show host, 41, said: “I can’t really talk about it, but as you can probably see, I’m not very happy about it.
“There is two sides to every story, as we know, so that’s all I can say right now.”
