A reckless resident was arrested for riding a jet ski through a flooded street in Bangkok, Thailand.
Sorn Keadsiri, 27, claimed he wanted to cheer up flood-stricken locals by riding his machine through the deluge on 27 September.
Footage shows the thrill-seeker carving up water on a bright green jet ski while racing back and forth along the submerged Phetchaburi Road.
Officers from Makkasan district station later tracked down Sorn and questioned him over the incident.
Sorn has since apologised, admitting he had not fully considered the possible consequences of his actions.
