The most obvious change is the exclusive matte black exterior, complemented by blacked-out roof rails.
JETOUR Malaysia has introduced the T2 Dark Warrior Limited Edition in conjunction with Malaysia’s 69th Merdeka celebrations, with production limited to just 69 units nationwide.
The special edition costs RM167,600, comprising the regular T2’s RM156,800 nett selling price and a mandatory RM10,800 Dark Warrior accessory package. The figure excludes registration fees, road tax and insurance.
The most obvious change is the exclusive matte black exterior, complemented by blacked-out roof rails, a black rear Jetour logo and T2 emblem, along with contrasting red brake callipers.
The RM10,800 Dark Warrior package takes the rugged treatment further with a different grille and front guard rail, Warrior roof rack, modular side ladder, side hanging plate and stealth emblems.
Mechanically, there are no changes from the regular T2. Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine producing 180kW, equivalent to 245PS, and 375Nm.
It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and Jetour’s Intelligent XWD all-wheel-drive system, which offers 7+X drive modes.
The rest of the equipment is also carried over from the standard T2, including Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, six airbags and a panoramic view monitoring system. The T2 has also received a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating.
The Jetour T2 Dark Warrior Limited Edition retains the standard model’s five complimentary scheduled services, seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty and 10-year or 1,000,000km powertrain warranty. The Dark Warrior accessories themselves are covered for three years or 100,000km.
