Jewellery, documents stolen in RM35,000 Sungai Buloh break-in

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 - Police are investigating a burglary believed to have been carried out by four masked suspects at a woman's home in Sungai Buloh, resulting in estimated losses of RM35,000.

Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said police received a report on the incident today.

"The incident resulted in the loss of jewellery and several important documents," he said in a statement today.

Mohd Hafiz urged anyone with information on the incident to contact investigating officer Sergeant Shamie Yusop at 013-6463069 or the Sungai Buloh district police headquarters at 03-61561222 to assist in the investigation.

The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.

Earlier, a video went viral on social media showing a woman's home in disarray following the suspected break-in, with cash, mobile phones, jewellery and passports reportedly missing.
