Former Real Sociedad captain Xabi Prieto admits he's been quickly won over by Martin Odegaard.
The midfielder has been outstanding this season, having joined La Real on-loan from Real Madrid last summer.
And Prieto told AS: "Martin has surprised me, he had very good references for him, but for someone from outside to offer such a good performance so soon, I did not expect it.
"It is a pity that he is injured, I hope he can recover for the Bernabu (against Real Madrid).
"I know he is a great worker and hopefully he will continue to show here how great he is."
