Tell me you do not get mad when you read the above headline.
I am, because here is a guy who robbed us of our money and spent them gambling in Las Vegas and generously giving away a Ferrari as a wedding gift to Kim Kardashian!
Darn lucky for Kim, bad luck for Malaysians who would have to cough up the money to pay back the debts created by people like Low and his cronies.
You'll get more angry when you read the FBI report. The story goes, one night in Las Vegas, Kim Kardashian told the FBI that she had won US$350,000 (RM1.6 million) by betting with Joh Low's money in a game of baccarat.
But she was advised by her security guard to give her winnings (gambling chips) back to Jho Low as she did not win with her own money.
However, according to an FBI summary report, "When Kardashian attempted to give the chips back, Low told Kardashian that the chips were hers to keep."
Kim also said that Low offered her a horse carriage as a gift for her wedding, but Kardashian instead requested a white Ferrari.
She said Low later sent her money to buy the car herself instead. "Once she was told the money came in, she just thought 'Let's get me a car'," read the FBI report.
Besides Kim Kardashian, US actress and model Emily Ratajkowski appeared topless in Robin Thicke's controversial music video Blurred Lines said Malaysian fugitive financier Low Taek Jho paid her USD25,000 (about RM103,800) for a night of her company to attend a super bowl match with him.
Even Leonardo DiCaprio was once paid $150,000 and flown on a private jet to a party in Las Vegas that was hosted by Jho Low, who is on the lam after siphoning off large sums from the 1MDB Malaysian sovereign wealth fund.
How callous of Jho Low who was willing to blow hundreds of thousands of ringgit a night just to gamble, spend time with film stars like DiCaprio or get a model to babysit him at a football match.
But then, he did not have to work hard for those millions. He just uses a connection through a school friend at Harrow (Najib's step son) to get to Najib to play ball with him.
"Jho Low initially gained access to Najib through (Riza) Aziz. Low used his connection to Najib to get access to the business world," read the FBI document referring to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
While you are getting mad with Jho Low think about the man who allowed him to rob us.
He goes to jail leaving behind a trail of destruction and horrendous debt because of his corruption and yet claim to be politically prosecuted by opponents.
Get mad with them all or get even if you could but do Cry for Malaysians that have to cough up money to pay the loans we took out for Jho Low and his cronies to have fun!
