Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment (KePKAS) is facilitating the communication of organisers of the forthcoming “Jiangsu TV Music & Travel Show: Bring Me To You” event in Sabah, with government authorities.
The move to ensure that everything is in order followed a recent meeting between its Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew and representatives from Romantic Holiday Travel & Tours, a local agency seeking support from KePKAS for the show featuring seven celebrities from China.
Briefing Liew on the event, Managing Director of Romantic Holiday Travel & Tours, Lisa Wang said Jiangsu TV is bringing a 150 strong filming crew, and the celebrities are scheduled to perform at Lintasan Deasoka here next week. Also present was Executive Tour Coordinator Keith Ho.
“We welcome the filming crew and celebrities as their presence and activities will be a tourism booster for Sabah. So, we want to make life easier for them and ensure they have a smooth trip and pleasant stay while moving from one destination to another for their location shooting,” the Minister said.
Liew also urged the local authorities in Semporna to extend the necessary assistance to Jiangsu TV filming crew and celebrities when they visit the district for location shooting.
