Hong Kong-born American comedian, actor, and writer Jimmy O. Yang is set to bring his acclaimed stand-up comedy tour to Malaysia this November for a special one-night-only performance. The show forms part of his ‘Big & Tall’ world tour and will mark his first official appearance in the country, following the cancellation of a planned 2022 show.
Presented by Bohm Presents and LOL Asia, the event is expected to draw a packed crowd eager to see Yang’s signature brand of comedy. Known for his sharp wit and unfiltered takes on immigrant parents, cultural identity, and the quest for the so-called ‘American dream,’ Yang has become a favourite with audiences worldwide, especially among the Asian diaspora.
The comedian already has two well-received specials on Prime Video under his belt, Good Deal and Guess How Much? — both of which cemented his reputation as one of today’s most relatable and candid comic voices. Beyond stand-up, he is recognised globally for his scene-stealing television and film roles, including Jian-Yang in HBO’s Silicon Valley, Bernard Tai in Crazy Rich Asians, and Josh Lin in Netflix’s romantic comedy Love Hard. Most recently, he starred in Interior Chinatown on Hulu, directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi.
Off-screen, Yang is also the best-selling author of How to American: An Immigrant’s Guide to Disappointing Your Parents, a heartfelt and humorous memoir that reflects on his unconventional rise to success.

Jimmy O. Yang is set to perform in Malaysia at the Idea Live Arena on 23 November 2025 at 8 PM MYT. Tickets are priced between RM188 and RM508, offering a variety of categories for fans to choose from.
Tickets are currently on presale via LOL Asia until 4 September 2025 at 11.59 AM MYT, accessible using the promo code ‘BIG.’ General sales will open on the same day from 12 PM MYT onwards through LOL Asia’s official website and Fantopia.
