
Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Industrial Development (MID) under the leadership of Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam has brought to Sabah two high-impact projects worth billions of ringgit.
The projects involve copper foil manufacturing by a South Korean company, SK Nexilis, which invested RM4.2 billion, and solar glass manufacturing by SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn Bhd, which involved a RM2 billion investment.
Political Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister and Industrial Development Minister, Yubidi Gumpoyo, said all the projects are Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) initiatives under the MID.
