AN unemployed man, Wan Muhammad Nasrul W Ahmad, 31, pleaded guilty in the Johor Bahru Sessions Court today to a charge of committing mischief by setting fire to a Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB) tow truck at a vehicle impound depot on 15 August.

Bernama reported on Tuesday that the plea was entered before Judge Thalha Bachok @ Embok Mok after the charge was read to the accused in court.

However, Judge Thalha Bachok has deferred sentencing to tomorrow, pending the submission of closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage relevant to the case.
