Newcastle United favorite Joelinton believes everyone in the dressing room is enjoying his upturn in form.
The Brazilian was signed as a center forward by the Magpies, but he has been converted into an outstanding central midfielder by manager Eddie Howe.
Joelinton was very impressive alongside countryman Bruno Guimaraes as they defeated Tottenham 2-1 in the Premier League last weekend.
"We are living a great moment, and this is the result of a lot of work and dedication from everyone," he told Brazilian outlet Lance.
"The club has strengthened itself well for this season, we have a coach who knows the players well, and all the professionals who work on a daily basis at the club are also important.
"It's everyone's job. I arrived at Newcastle in 2019 and, for sure, this is the best moment we are living."
"We won a great victory away from home, against an extremely qualified opponent, which leaves us glued to the top of the table," Joelinton added.
"Our thinking is game by game, always looking to score points, to fight for big things in the season.
"I'm happy with my performance, of course, but the most important thing is the collective. We already have another difficult game in the sequence, in front of our fans, and we will work to keep this sequence positive."
