- John Lewis is relaunching its sports and wellbeing offer, aiming to become the first UK retailer to combine sportswear, footwear, wearable technology, recovery, AI-powered fitness, and expert services in one location.
- This multi-million-pound investment is part of a larger £800 million cash injection into John Lewis's 36 stores across the UK.
- The new concept has already transformed the sports department in its London Oxford Street site and will fund similar redevelopments in Liverpool and Cheadle, as well as a new department in Glasgow.
- The departments, up to 5,000 square feet, will feature leading brands including Nike, Brooks, Patagonia, Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Therabody, Peloton, NordicTrack, and Speediance.
- Shoppers will also have access to services such as free gait analysis, with the aim of supporting customers throughout their entire fitness journey.
