Great news indeed for anyone who’s ever tried to piece together a JB sightseeing route on the fly, Johor Bahru is set to launch free shuttle bus services in early 2026, designed to make exploring the city simpler, smoother, and a lot more fun. The initiative is being introduced in conjunction with Visit Johor 2026 and is a joint effort between the Public Transport Corporation of Johor (PAJ), Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB), and Tourism Johor.
According to Johor State Committee for Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Communications chairman Fazli Salleh, the service is meant to make it easier for both locals and visitors to get around JB’s major attractions.
