
JOHOR BAHRU: Several local fishermen have lodged a police report following a verbal altercation with the Singapore police coast guard, which went viral on social media yesterday evening.
Iskandar Puteri police chief Rahmat Ariffin said his department received the report at 2.30pm today and further investigations are underway.
A group of 10 local fishermen were reported to have claimed they were chased away by the Singaporean coast guard while setting up shrimp nets in the Pasir Laba area, near the Second Link Bridge, Iskandar Puteri, at 5.30pm yesterday
