Johor government advises vigilance as Met Malaysia issues continuous rain alert for Segamat, Kluang, Mersing and Kota Tinggi from Friday to Monday.
JOHOR BAHRU: The Johor State Government has urged all residents to remain vigilant amid a continuous rain warning.
Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the alert from the Malaysian Meteorological Department is in effect from Friday until Monday.
He specifically advised caution for those in the districts of Segamat, Kluang, Mersing and Kota Tinggi.
“The Johor State Government, through relevant agencies, will also continue to monitor the situation closely,” he said in a Facebook post.
Onn Hafiz also urged the people of Johor to pray for the state’s wellbeing and protection.
