Newcastle United are the side that no one wants to face when they are playing at home.

That is the opinion of former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan, who is now a talkSPORT pundit.

The outspoken Englishman spoke about how Newcastle had only lost twice in the past ten matches, which was their 2-0 loss at home to Arsenal at the weekend.

The Magpies are vying to finish in the Premier League top four and sit in third place at present.

"That Newcastle side, irrespective of whether Arsenal were leading the way or second in the league, were the side that no one wants to play at St James' Park." Jordan told talkSPORT.

"Whoever you are, wherever you were in that particular title race, or wherever you were in the league, to go to Newcastle and, ostensibly, despite the first 10 minutes, shut that game down and be the better side on the pitch and play against a cacophony of noise that the Newcastle fans bring tells you that Arsenal are a very good side."
