Liverpool youngster Josh Davidson has signed his first professional contract.
The 17-year-old has been very impressive with the Under-18s since last season.
The defender plays on the right-hand side, while he is comfortable on the ball and quick to get forward and track back.
From Kirkby, Davidson has been a mainstay for the Under-18s, and has now been rewarded with a new deal.
The club website confirmed that he has signed professional terms, and will be a part of their Under-18 setup this season.
Davidson may be hoping to make the step up to the Under-21s next term, or go out on loan for first team experience.
