Jos Martnez 'Pirri' has been named new honourary president of Real Madrid.
The Real Madrid legend succeeds Amancio, who passed away last season.
Pirri won a European Cup, 10 LaLiga titles and four Spanish Cups during his time with Real Madrid.
Midfielder Pirri played a total of 561 games in which he scored 121 goals.
Following retirement, Pirri finished his medical studies and joined the Real Madrid medical team, where he later served as technical director and sports general manager.
